Using funky NEON Cardstock!

It doesn't have to be crazy wild when you use Neon and otherwise, not 'pleasing colours'.  Not that I have anything against neon green, wickedly BRIGHT orange, and Sunshine yellow, or that really bright horrendous purple colour, but It's something I use very sparingly. lol

I found a pack of neon cardstock in my stash, and decided I had to make something with it,...and I really wanted to like it. lol  So, rather than work on kids cards, I challenged myself to make something really classy with them....with NEON?  YES!!

Here's my result!
To use up some crazy colours of Cardstock, or wild print Pattern Papers you have (I did some of those too, but they're not pictured here), you just have to think a little outside the box to make them sing! :0)
I stamped in versamark, since I couldn't find my Ranger Distress emboss...any clear ink will work, then emboss with clear powder.  Go over the whole mess with a Ranger Paint dauber, or distress inks, to get the look you're after!   Clockwise from the lavendar one, here is what I used.
White pigment SU! ink (on a bright purple)
Red Pepper Ranger dauber (on neon green)
Bottle Ranger Dauber (on neon green)
Making Memories brown paint, (finger painted on bright neon pink)
For all of these cards I used a Stampin' Up set.  5th Avenue Floral (I think that's what it's called! lol)
Check back as I am now hoping to post at least one new idea or mini tutorial weekly! :0)
Happy Scrapping!
If you give this a shot, post a comment here with a link to your blog to show off your creations!
